Melissa Willis is our auctioneer and founding member of the gallery. She began collecting, buying, selling and restoring antiques in 2006. Her expertise is in appraising and repairing mechanical and musical items such as musical instruments, Edison phonographs and vintage pinball machines. Since starting Symphony Auction Gallery in 2013, she has expanded her knowledge to include art, ephemera, signs and advertising, coins, stamps, jewelry, watches and clocks and many other genres of antiques, collectibles and oddities. Melissa holds a Bachelors Degree from URI in music education and a certificate in auctioneering from the Kentucky Auction Academy. She was a music teacher in RI for 14 years prior to opening Symphony Auction Gallery.
